Coronavirus All Airlines Advisory on Cancellation and Amendment

PLEASE NOTE: All flights are suspended for travel from 22th March 2020 till 17th May 2020.

 

Cancelation Policy : 

  • You can cancel your flight and keep your booking open to book future travel without reissuance charges (fare in difference, if any, will apply, at the time of reissuance).
  • This is applicable on bookings with initial travel dates between 22nd March 2020 and 17th May 2020.

 

Amendment Policy : 

  • You can reschedule your booking, without route/date-change charges. Only fare difference will apply.
  • This is applicable on bookings with initial travel dates between 23rd March 2020 and 03rd May 2020.

PLEASE NOTE: No-show charges will be waived off. In case, passenger has used the benefit of any waiver for a free date-change and due to some reasons, there is no operations on the new date also, the passenger will be eligible to avail the benefit of the waiver again.

Route Eligibility: All domestic routes

 

Amendment Policy:

If your initial travel date is between 15th April 2020 and 17th May 2020, your ticket amount will be automatically maintained in a credit shell, for your future travel. You can use it to make a booking within 1 year from date of issuance (for the same passenger). You may visit the airline website www.goindigo.in for the same.

  • Initial Booking Date: Any
  • Initial Travel Date: Before 17th May 2020
  • New Travel Dates: Within 1 year from the date of issuance
  • Number of Changes Allowed: One

 

Cancellation Policy:

  • If you were booked to travel before 17th May 2020, your ticket amount will be automatically maintained in a credit shell, valid for use within 1 year from date of issuance (for the same passenger).
  • For tickets with initial booking date between 25th March 2020 and 14th April 2020, for initial travel between 25th March 2020 and 3rd May 2020, you will be eligible for full refund.

All flights are suspended for travel from 25th March 2020 till 17th May 2020. For your travel between these dates, your ticket amount will be maintained in a credit shell, which you can use to make a new booking, for travel till 28th February 2021 (for the same passenger).

If you don’t show up for your flight, your PNR will be protected which you can use to reschedule with the following conditions:

  • New travel date: Between 1st June 2020 and 31st December 2020.
  • New tickets will be issued for the same traveller, for GoAir flights only.

Applicable for bookings with initial booking date after 11th March 2020, and initial travel date between 18th May 2020 and 31st December:

  • You can reschedule your travel, without any date-change charges. Only fare difference will apply.
  • New tickets will be issued for the same traveller, for GoAir flights only.
  • Time Limit: Up to 14 days prior to departure.

Amendment Policy:

1. You can reschedule your bookings on the airline chat box, without any date-change charges, on the same route, for travel between 25 March 2020 and 17 May 2020. Only fare difference will apply.

2. Applicable on AirAsia Domestic flights carrier code: I5

3. Number of changes allowed: Multiple.

4. New travel date: Before 31 October 2020.

5. For changes to a new travel date beyond 31 October 2020, standard terms and conditions will apply.

Adhering to DGCAs Flight Suspension directive, all Trujet flights are suspended until May 3, 2020. As far as the bookings falling under this period are concerned, all stand automatically cancelled and a credit file shall be created for the customers, which can be utilised by self, for bookings done within 6 months from the date of cancellation .

Amendment Policy:

  • Applicable on tickets with initial booking date on or before 30th June 2020, for departure on or before 30th November 2020:

    • You can reschedule your booking, without any route/date-change charges and fare difference, within the same cabin, to an alternate flight or to/from nearest Emirates online gateway within the same region, where Emirates flights are operating.
    • For rescheduling to any other region, fare difference will apply.
    • Valid till 760 days of issuance. If you are unable to travel, you can also extend the validity for another year or opt for a refund as per the fare rules and conditions shared at the time of booking.

- Thai Airways is extending waivers to cities in Asia and Europe.
- Revised (NEW) travel date must be on or before December 15, 2020 and subject to flight availability.
Request of the change must be made on/before December 15, 2020.

Given the present uncertain travel situation because of COVID 19 and the related travel restrictions imposed by various Governments, all passengers with travel dates between March 1 and April 30, 2020, are permitted a free date change.
This applies to both past dated and future dated bookings. Fare difference may be applicable.
There is no urgency to change the travel date, and the same may be done once the passenger decides on his new travel date until March 2021. If passengers opt to cancel their bookings, cancellation charges apply.

- One time free reschedule of flight tickets & holidays between March 8 and April 7, 2020.
- Valid for all existing destinations across the Etihad network.
- Any fare difference will apply

Details on reschedule fees waiver for existing bookings
Those due to fly before 30 June 2020, can rebook for departures up to 30 June 2020, without standard change fees.

Only one change is permitted. Further changes will attract standard fees. Re-routing or rebooking can only proceed if there are no travel restrictions on intended routes.

- No cancellation penalty if flight has been suspended/cancelled due to travel advisory
- No change fees if flight has been suspended/cancelled due to travel advisory

As at 15th March, Etihad had suspended or announced suspension of flights between Abu Dhabi and the following destinations:

Mainland China and Hong Kong: Shanghai, Chengdu, Hong Kong
Japan: Nagoya (via Beijing)
Saudi Arabia: Riyadh, Jeddah, Dammam, Medina
Italy: Rome and Milan
Kuwait: Kuwait City
Turkey: Istanbul
Lebanon: Beirut
Morocco: Casablanca, Rabat
Spain: Madrid, Barcelona
Jordan: Amman

Waivers applicable only on flights cancelled due to travel restrictions

Rebooking
-You can rebook, free of charge, to travel up to 60 days from your original date of travel.

-If you choose to rebook more than 60 days from your original date of travel, any difference in fare will apply.
-You will need to rebook your flights before 31 March 2020 for both of the above options.

Refund

You can request a full refund to flydubai voucher or to your original form of payment.

 

Saudi Arabia: Following a directive from the authorities in Saudi Arabia, flydubai flights to and from Saudi Arabia have been cancelled until 31 March.
Iran: flydubai flights to the Iranian cities of Esfahan, Lar, Mashhad, Shiraz and Tehran have been temporarily suspended following a directive from the General Civil Aviation Authority (GCAA).
Bahrain: Following a directive from the authorities in Bahrain, flydubai flights to and from Bahrain have been cancelled until 31 March.
Kuwait: Following a directive from the authorities in Kuwait, flydubai flights to and from Kuwait will be cancelled between 14 and 19 March.
Italy: flydubai flights to and from Catania have been cancelled from 15 March to 20 May.
flydubai flights to and from Naples have been cancelled from 14 March to 21 May.
Slovakia: Following a directive from the authorities in Slovakia, flydubai flights from and to Bratislava have been cancelled between 13 and 27 March.
Poland: Following a directive from the authorities in Poland, flydubai flights from and to Krakow have been cancelled between 15 and 28 March.
South Sudan: flydubai flights from and to Juba have been temporarily suspended from 14 March.
Pakistan: Following a directive from the authorities in Pakistan, flydubai flights will operate as per the following:
Flights to and from Sialkot will be rerouted to Islamabad on from 14 to 17 March.
Flights to and from Faisalabad and Multan will be rerouted to Islamabad from 15 to 17 March.
Flights to and from Quetta on 16 and 17 March have been cancelled and passengers will be rebooked on the Karachi flights.
Flights to and from Karachi will continue to operate to schedule.
Djibouti: Following a directive from the authorities in Djibouti, flydubai flights from and to Djibouti have been suspended from 18 March.
Jordan: Following a directive from the authorities in Jordan, flydubai flights from and to Amman have been suspended from 17 March.

Malaysia Airlines is offering a one time fee-free rebooking for flights booked before March 31 for travel until December 31, 2020.
Booking must be changed by May 31, 2020 with the new date of travel being December 31, 2020 or earlier.
Selected destinations in Asia, the Middle East, and Europe are also eligible for rebooking and/or refund.

Air Mauritius has suspended all international commercial flights until 30th April, 2020. Regardless of conditions of the original booking of a ticket, all penalty fees will be waived for a passenger who wishes to change the travel date.

For tickets issued for the period between 1st April to 31st May 2020:
Passengers who wish to cancel their trip during this period may claim a voucher worth the price of their ticket which will be valid for a period of 12 months. For both periods no penalty fee is applicable.
Also, passengers who opt for a monetary refund instead will be charged an amount under the cancellation rules as specified.

No change fee for tickets issued on or before March 15, for travel up to May 31, 2020:
Customers can cancel their existing flight itineraries, retain the value of their tickets and rebook their travel at a later date, when they are able to firm up their new travel plans.
The new flight itinerary should be completed by March 31, 2021. Fare differences will apply

Cathay Pacific is waiving cancellation and no-show fees for bookings impacted by coronavirus (COVID-19).
If your booking was on or before March 23, 2020; Travel period between March 17 to May 31, 2020. If you do not wish to cancel your flight, you can rebook or reroute your ticket for travel on or before December 10, 2020.
Free rebooking:
If you booked on or before March 23, 2020, for travel until May 31, 2020, you could change your booking with no rebooking or rerouting fees.
Ticket change deadline is May 31, 2020, for travel before December 10, 2020.

NOTE: Fare differences may apply and your new ticket must follow the same fare rules of your old ticket (for example, if your new ticket is during peak season while the original ticket is for a low season or certain travel dates may not be eligible).

Cathay Pacific is giving the flexibility to make free and unlimited changes to all new tickets issued between March 9 and April 20, 2020.
Ticket change deadline is February 28, 2021, for travel before February 28, 2021.

- Passengers holding tickets for travel on or before 20 March 2020 may rebook or request a refund by 30 April 2020 at no additional cost.

-Passengers with tickets to travel on or after 21 March 2020 may rebook or request a refund during the entire validity period of the ticket.

If you hold a cancelled or existing Lufthansa flight, passengers don't have to commit to a new travel date right away. Existing bookings will initially be cancelled, and the ticket and ticket value will remain unchanged.
To tickets booked up to and including April 19, 2020, and with a confirmed travel date up to and including April 30, 2021, following regulation applies:
The tickets can be extended to a new departure date up to and including April 30, 2021.
Passengers can also rebook to another destination.
Please note that the new flight must be booked until August 31, 2020.
For every rebooked ticket with a new departure date on/before December 31, 2020, a 50 euro discount on the ticket price is offered additionally.
Rebooking fees will still not be charged, regardless of which fare was booked.
Should the rebooked fare be more expensive due to a change of destination (e.g. rebooking from short-haul to long-haul), change of class of travel or similar, an additional payment may be necessary despite the discount.

For bookings made until April 19, 2020, with a confirmed travel date up to and including April 30, 2021:
Lufthansa Group airlines waive the rebooking fees for all newly booked flights worldwide and offer a one-time rebooking free of charge, regardless of the conditions of the original fare purchased.
Passengers can in future rebook to a new travel date until April 30, 2021, without rebooking fees. Rebooking must be done by August 31, 2020.
If the original fare is no longer available, the corresponding difference must be paid, but you will receive a 50 euro discount on this amount if the new travel date is on or before December 31, 2020.

Despite the new travel guidelines ordered by the US administration on passengers from the European Union, Switzerland and other countries, Lufthansa Group Airlines will continue to offer flights to the USA from Germany, Austria, Switzerland and Belgium.

The Lufthansa Group will continue operating flights from:
· Frankfurt to Chicago and Newark (New York)
· Zurich to Chicago and Newark (New York)
· Vienna to Chicago
· Brussels to Washington

The Lufthansa Group will continue to serve all destinations in Canada until further notice.
